Gordon Hubbell Shark Museum!
August 28, 2014

I am so excited!! In September I will be able to meet with Dr. Hubbell and tour the Shark museum - http://www.tellmewhereonearth.com/Web%20Pages/Sharks/Sharks_Page_15.htm Check out this fossil here: "Most ancient shark species are known only from teeth, but an analysis of C. hubbelli, also known as Hubbell's white shark, was based on a complete set of jaws with 222 in'tact teeth and 45 vertebrae." This gorgeous fossil was donated by Dr. Hubbell to the Florida Museum of Natural History in 2009. The fossil was found in Peru.
