Art!

For over 40 years, I made my living as an artist, and began to incorporate writing as part of my creative self about 25 years ago. I have enjoyed a measure of success in both of those worlds. I feel quite fortunate to pursue both of these creative activities and provide for myself and my animals from this work.

For your enjoyment, I have placed some of my work here. My Master's degree is in Medical & Biological Illustration. For decades I did primarily medical illustration and animation but segued into the entertainment industry when another, very real, golden age of animation was happening in Los Angeles where I was living at that time.

Because artist's were in such high demand, I received a number of calls from studios asking if I would like to go to work in film and television. What a fun and amazing opportunity. Of course I said yes and worked for Warner Bros., Disneys, Universal and Lucasarts. I hope you enjoy seeing some of my work.

I was also privileged to travel with the Air Force to gather ideas and information so I could create paintings for the National Archives.
